At Sitor, we believe learning should be personal — but your data should remain private. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (encrypted). During learning sessions, we store your conversation history, learning progress, mastery scores, and learner profile data to provide personalized tutoring. We also collect basic usage analytics (pages visited, session duration) to improve the product.
Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve your learning experience. Conversation history powers personalized teaching. Mastery scores track your progress. Learner profiles help the AI adapt to your knowledge level. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption, secure authentication via Supabase, and regular security audits. Conversation data is processed through Qwen API under their data processing agreements.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (authentication & database), Qwen API (AI tutoring), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting & analytics), and PostHog (product analytics). Each service has its own privacy policy and processes data according to their terms.
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at sanyuan0704@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. You can also request a copy of all data we hold about you.
